Krutrim AI Hiring

Krutrim, India’s first AI unicorn, is hiring for multiple foundation AI roles across Palo Alto and San Francisco in the US, Singapore, and Bengaluru. The company is expanding its AI computing infrastructure, AI cloud, and multimodal foundational models.

Among the key positions open are lead generative AI research engineer, senior distributed training research engineer, lead research scientist for speech and audio foundation models, AI alignment/reinforcement learning research engineer, and AI cloud platform system engineer.

The senior distributed training research engineer (AI labs) position is full-time and is based in Palo Alto. Key responsibilities include designing distributed training pipelines, using model and data parallelism techniques, implementing advanced parallelism methods like Flash Attention, and optimising training performance using CUDA, C++, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.

Krutrim is also hiring an AI cloud platform system engineer, who will be responsible for scaling and optimising large language model (LLM) training and inference platforms.

Another key position, the principal research scientist for AI alignment, will lead efforts in AI safety, trust, and red teaming. This role involves ensuring Krutrim’s AI models are transparent, ethical, and aligned with user needs while mitigating risks of biases and harmful outputs.

For those passionate about AI research, the role of lead generative AI research engineer offers an opportunity to work on large multimodal models.

Krutrim is also looking for a lead research scientist for speech and audio foundation models, who will drive innovation in multilingual speech and audio AI. The scientist will work on novel architectures for speech synthesis and multilingual speech recognition, ensuring Krutrim’s AI stack is inclusive of diverse linguistic needs.
