Bengaluru-based startup RevRag.AI has launched Sophie, an AI onboarding agent designed to enhance customer engagement and minimise sales funnel drop-offs. The agent caters specifically to the fintech, banking, lending, and insurance sectors.
Sophie addresses revenue loss from sales funnel drop-offs by offering real-time AI assistance, proactive engagement, and personalised follow-ups via multiple communication channels, including AI voice calls, emails, chat, and WhatsApp.

“Enterprises lose substantial revenue due to user drop-offs during onboarding and sales cycles,” said Ashutosh Prakash Singh, co-founder and CEO of RevRag.AI. He added that their AI agents engage with potential customers across multiple touchpoints, ensuring timely assistance, reminders and follow-ups.
“This not only increases conversions but also enhances the overall customer experience,” said Singh.
Sophie is part of RevRag.AI’s suite of AI agents. Emma, the company’s first AI sales agent, initially focused on automating B2B cold email outreach. Customer feedback and market demand led to the evolution of AI-driven voice interactions, expanding RevRag.AI’s capabilities into AI calling, chat, and WhatsApp engagement.
“Our vision has always been to assist revenue teams, not replace them. We empower businesses to focus on high-value interactions while automating repetitive tasks,” explained Pankaj Gupta, co-founder and CTO of RevRag.AI.
With AI-enabled multi-channel orchestration, the startup aims to bridge the gap between enterprises and their customers, ensuring no high-intent prospect is lost due to inefficient follow-ups.
RevRag.AI is supported by Powerhouse Ventures, Kunal Shah (founder of CRED), Viral Bajaria and Premal Shah (co-founder of 6sense), Deepak Anchala (founder and CEO at Stealth AI startup), Vetri Vellore (founder of Rhythms), and over 15 other investors.
“Customer acquisition and retention are evolving rapidly, and enterprises need agile solutions to stay ahead with AI taking the front row. With our technology, businesses can ensure that no potential customer is lost due to inefficient engagement strategies,” said Neeraj Gupta, co-founder and CPO at RevRag.ai.
In August last year, the startup announced that it had secured $600K in its pre-seed funding round.
