Workplace SaaS Startup OneTab Raises $3.3M to Scale Operations

Slack, Trello, and Atlassian are a few companies offering similar solutions.

OneTab, a workplace SaaS startup focused on streamlining software development workflows, has successfully raised $3.3 million in its seed funding round. The round was co-led by LIT Fund and Orbit, with participation from a Singapore-based family office, SOSV, Sunil Kumar Singhvi, and the company’s founders.

Founded in November 2023 by Saket Dandotia, Sonal Dandotia, and Alok Patil, OneTab aims to improve the software development life cycle (SDLC) by integrating project management, communication, API development, CI/CD, and AI-driven automation into a single platform.

AI Agent for SaaS

The startup’s flagship product, OneAsk, is an AI agent designed to manage the entire SDLC, from ideation and design to testing, deployment, and post-launch analytics.

OneTab’s AI capabilities are powered by open-source LLMs, including its proprietary OneGPT and OneCode. These LLMs enable AI-powered project management, coding assistance, and automation while ensuring data privacy through private hosting. The platform operates on a SaaS subscription model with tiered pricing based on team size and usage.

The fresh capital will be used to boost the development and deployment of OneAsk, enhance the platform’s features, expand the team, and scale operations.

The company says OneTab’s approach addresses inefficiencies in traditional tools like Slack and Asana by offering a comprehensive solution for software development teams.

The Singapore-headquartered company operates in India, primarily in cars and software development for developers and project managers.

OneTab faces competition in the crowded project management and collaboration space, with alternatives including well-established players like Trello, Jira (a product of Atlassian), ClickUp, and others. However, its focus on AI-driven software development workflows sets it apart in the market.

Indian SaaS Market

The Indian SaaS market is expected to reach $50 billion by 2025, driven by digital transformation and increasing global demand for cloud-based solutions. Salesforce India chief Arundhati Bhattacharya recently stated at an event that the company has seen increasing adoption of agentic AI in India.

“India’s startup ecosystem, being the third largest in the world, is uniquely positioned to address challenges at a billion-plus scale. The progress we’re seeing with agentic AI is phenomenal, even though companies are just starting to dip their toes into it,” she said.
