Accenture expanded its AI Refinery, an industrial AI solution, and introduced a new AI agent builder on Tuesday. The new tool allows business users to build and customise AI agents without the need for coding, aimed at helping businesses adopt AI more quickly and easily. The AI Refinery platform and the new agent solutions are built using NVIDIA’s AI technology.
The company also announced that it is developing more than 50 industry-specific AI agent solutions and plans to reach 100 by the end of the year. These solutions are designed to streamline work and boost efficiency in industries such as telecommunications, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail.
“We are seizing the significant opportunity to help our clients prioritise bold, high-impact initiatives that tackle core business challenges by reinventing processes end-to-end with generative AI and agentic technology,” said Lan Guan, chief AI officer at Accenture.
Organisations like ESPN, HPE, Noli, and the United Nations are already exploring Accenture’s AI Refinery to improve their services.
At ESPN, Accenture is helping develop an AI-powered avatar called FACTS, which is being tested with Southeastern Conference (SEC) Nation to enhance the fan experience by providing sports data and insights in an easy-to-understand way.
HPE is working with Accenture to build a new AI solution that will help with category sourcing, spend management, and contract obligations. Noli, a beauty tech company supported by L’Oréal Group, has teamed up with Accenture to create a personalised beauty shopping platform.
Meanwhile, United Nations is collaborating with Accenture to build a multilingual research agent. This AI tool will support over 150 languages and help people learn about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, encouraging awareness and participation.
Accenture’s industry agent solutions use NVIDIA’s advanced reasoning models. These AI agents can make better decisions and help human workers focus on more important tasks.
Furthermore, Accenture states that, as per the latest research, over one-third of organisations have already implemented industry-specific AI solutions for core processes like risk, claims, and underwriting. These organisations are three times more likely to see better-than-expected returns on investment.“Agentic AI is powering the next wave of AI, enabling enterprises to enhance productivity with intelligent agents capable of handling complex, multi-step challenges,” said Justin Boitano, vice president of enterprise software at NVIDIA.
