Madhya Pradesh Emerges as India’s Next Tech Hub with ₹25,640 Cr Investment at GIS 2025

The summit witnessed major investment announcements, set to generate approximately 1,83,400 employment opportunities.
Google, NVIDIA, and Microsoft to Invest INR 3,200 Crore in Madhya Pradesh

On Monday, Madhya Pradesh took a major step towards becoming India’s next technology powerhouse at the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025, with the IT and Technology Summit securing investment commitments worth ₹25,640 crore. 

The summit, hosted by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh, showcased the state’s vision to become a global hub for IT, electronics, semiconductors, drones, AVGC-XR, data centres, and Global Capability Centers (GCCs).

The state announced key investments that are set to generate approximately 1,83,400 employment opportunities. 

Tholons Inc, offering a comprehensive suite of services and solutions to elevate Global Business Services (GBS) and Capability Centers (GCCs), pledged ₹500 Cr for GCC investments and an additional ₹5,000 Cr in FDI, leading to 40,000 jobs, reinforcing MP’s presence in the global IT landscape

Shree Tech Data Limited committed ₹4,000 Cr to GCC & data centres, creating 2,000 jobs, while Kaynes Technology invested ₹352 Cr for SMT manufacturing at IT Park, Bhopal, generating 1,650 jobs.

Meanwhile, The animation, VFX, gaming, comics (AVGC) sector saw a boost with Beyond Studioz investing ₹100 Cr, creating 2,500 jobs.

The drone sector expanded with Prakhar Software Solution Limited’s ₹145 Cr investment, leading to 10,000 jobs. Meanwhile, Electronic Industries Association Of India (ELCINA) spearheaded a ₹1,000-1,200 Cr push in PCB & Electronics Manufacturing, adding 5,000 jobs, and Digital Convergence Technologies invested ₹200 Cr in GCC, generating 500 jobs. IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation also announced a new incubation center to support startups

Strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s IT and electronics ecosystem, MoUs were signed with global tech giants, including IBM, Barclays, Microsoft, VLSI, and L&T EduTech. These partnerships aim to drive investment, technological advancements, and skill development in the state.

Furthermore, Chief Minister MP Dr. Mohan Yadav mentioned that “Madhya Pradesh stands at an exciting juncture, equipped with world-class infrastructure and a skilled talent pool. The big-ticket announcements from companies like Amber, DCT, Alcina, Prakhar, STDL, Tholons, Chains, Beyond Studio, and Drishti IIT reflect the growing confidence of investors in the state.” 

The state’s Innovest Startup Pitching Contest provided a platform for emerging startups to showcase their innovations, secure funding, and build strategic partnerships. The IT and Technology Summit at GIS 2025 has set the stage for unprecedented investments and collaborations.
