With GCCs evolving into a $120 billion industry, Indian firms are playing a crucial role in helping MNCs establish themselves in the country. ANSR, a leader in the GCC space, is now taking this process to the next level with the launch of 1Wrk, a single-stop super app designed to simplify and enhance the entire lifecycle of a GCC.

This first-of-its-kind GCC SuperApp consolidates the entire spectrum of GCC setup and management into a single interface, offering an operating system for GCCs.

Vikram Ahuja, co-founder of ANSR, introduced 1Wrk as a technology-driven extension of ANSR’s expertise, aiming to bring automation, intelligence, and efficiency to the global workforce setup. “Over the years, we realised that setting up a GCC involves significant complexity,” Ahuja told AIM

“Companies often work with multiple partners, vendors, and scattered information, making the process cumbersome. 1Wrk is designed to stitch everything together, providing a seamless experience.”

According to the company, 1Wrk is a comprehensive suite of solutions that assists companies in building, managing, and running GCCs in a data-driven and automated manner. The platform also integrates AI agents for flexibility and operational excellence.

“All GCC setups facilitated by ANSR will now run on the 1Wrk platform. However, the larger vision is that companies can use 1Wrk independently, without requiring ANSR’s direct involvement.”

This allows enterprises of all sizes to leverage the platform based on their unique needs, whether as a self-serve tool or a fully guided service with ANSR’s expertise. This would help MNCs or smaller companies to set up GCCs with a smaller workforce, even in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

A Salesforce or Zoho for GCCs?

When asked whether 1Wrk could be called a Salesforce or Zoho for GCC, Ahuja said, “Yes, you could think of it that way. That’s why we call it a super app; it is a family of solutions addressing every stage of the GCC journey.”

The platform features a suite of solutions, including:

  • 1Recruit: AI-powered talent acquisition and screening
  • 1Team: Human resources management system with seamless payroll integration
  • 1Hub: Employee experience platform built on ServiceNow
  • 1Voice: Employer branding and recruitment marketing tools
  • 1Connect: Data-driven employee engagement platform
  • Talent500: A GCC talent directory with over 2.5 million professionals

Designed with pre-built workflows, real-time analytics, and enterprise-grade security, 1Wrk aims to help business leaders focus on building world-class global teams and is structured to support the three critical phases of a GCC – design, setup, and operations.

The design phase involves making decisions about location, skills, organisational structure, and talent strategy. 1Wrk’s talent intelligence tools, such as Talent500 and 1Recruit, give companies access to real-time data on skill demand, compensation benchmarks, and hiring trends.

Establishing a GCC requires recruitment marketing, employer branding, and operational readiness. 1Voice allows companies to build career websites and launch hiring campaigns effortlessly. 

Additionally, 1Team provides pre-built HR and labour law policies, making compliance and administrative tasks more efficient. “Rather than spending months figuring out regulations, companies can simply select from standardised templates and adapt them to their specific needs,” Ahuja noted.

AI Agents for Interviews

The operational phase covers hiring, onboarding, and employee experience. 1Recruit incorporates AI-based screening tools that automate initial interview rounds, reduce hiring time and improve candidate experience. 

Candidates can complete their first one or two interview rounds with an AI agent, which 1Wrk also calls interview-as-a-service. “Instead of recruiters handling the initial screening, candidates can self-assess through AI, reducing hiring time and improving the experience for everyone involved. This results in a highly qualified talent pipeline,” Ahuja said.

Furthermore, 1Hub, developed in partnership with ServiceNow, serves as an all-in-one employee experience platform.

“This is a particularly exciting area for us,” Ahuja added. “From the moment an employee joins, 1Hub supports their journey, covering everything from pre-boarding to their first 30, 60, and 90 days and beyond.”

This hub serves as a command and control centre for the employee experience, handling tasks such as requesting a laptop, booking meeting rooms, selecting meals, managing salary structures, handling tax reimbursements, logging timesheets, and more.

“From onboarding to payroll management, expense tracking, and even booking a parking spot, 1Hub ensures employees have a seamless experience from day one,” Ahuja explained. “It acts as a command centre for all employee-related activities.”

1Wrk is designed for scalability, with plans to expand its capabilities continually. “We see 1Wrk as an evolving platform. We can keep adding products to support the GCC lifecycle, making it the go-to technology stack for global workforce enablement,” Ahuja further said.
