Multinational tech firm L&T Technology Services inaugurated its new campus in Mysuru, Karnataka, on Monday. This would cater to the development and design of embedded solutions, software engineering, and digital products.
The new campus ‘Module X’ has eight floors with engineers who work on a wide spectrum of services that covers multiple industries. The campus has a seating capacity of about 1,300 engineers working on high-end projects for the LTTS’ Global Clientele.
The centre was inaugurated by L&T’s CEO and managing director SN Subrahmanyan and Amit Chadha, CEO & managing director at LTTS.
Chadha said, “Mysore, with its unique opportunities and pristine surroundings, is a vibrant destination for young professionals seeking the right work-life balance and is one of the key building blocks of LTTS’ success story. As LTTS grows beyond the billion-dollar annual revenue milestone, the vision of developing the Mysore center is on a fast track to attract new talent and help deliver even greater customer success journeys.”
For the next two years, the company plans to hire over 1,000 engineers in Mysore to cater to the burgeoning demand for services in engineering.
The Mysore campus caters to the LTTS’ global clientele in domains that span digital products and solutions, automotive, telecom and hi-tech, plant engineering, and design automation. The 35-acre LTTS Mysore campus is well-known for its product engineering work for global customers. This includes sustainable business practices such as rainwater harvesting, organic farming initiatives, and STP water recapture.
